Megaslate®THE FULL ROOF SYSTEM


Megaslate® is an building intergrated photovoltaic (BIPV) system.
It consists of single modules which when put together can be adapted to any shape or size of roof. Megaslate is a very simple power production alternative, that is very pleasing to the eye.

The simple and fast assembly of Megaslate systems during instalation is very cost effective.

Application possibilities

A roof surface is suitable for the assembly of a Megaslate® - if the roof is south facing (or west or east)

if it remains very unshaded, (by building, high trees etc)

if the roof has a slope of 20 degrees or more.


Construction system and assembly

Batten system

A Megaslate full roof should be well ventilated. The sub-construction consists of a batten system, which should be at least 50 mms high to guarantee the behind-ventilated.

There is fastened a batten system made from well dried wood with a cross section of 30 x 120 mms.
